Overview

Spanning more than 30 years of writing, this poetry collection provides a wide selection of work by a prize-winning American poet. It traces the development of a career grounded in the Black Mountain and New York schools of American poetry, and extends into the more recent developments of “Language writing” and post avant-garde experimental poetry.

Reviews

"Rodefer has, tactically and syntactically, been a remarkably consistent writer since the fantastic Four Lectures of 1982 and [he] invites us to rebel against the authorities who mow down language as if it were just blades of information. His love of the immediate transforms the mediated, revalues the debased currency of ads and slang."  —Andrea Brady, author, Jacket

Author Biography
