"Anthologies like Modern Canadian Poets are vital in keeping our beliefs off balance. They are vents for the sense of contingency that oxygenizes every era with doubts. By marshalling an otherwise random bunch of poets and pointing them in a new direction, rebooters Swift and [Jones] have created an imaginary zone of real facts to unpin our shared recognitions." —Quill and Quire (April 2011)Author Biography
