Overview
Taking as its subject the natural world and the arbitrary aspects of human life, this collection includes concrete poems, rhymed lyrics and epigrams, discursive philosophical discourse, and free-verse poetry. Formally diverse and endlessly inventive, the poems nevertheless grow out of vivid and genuine emotional responses to the world.
